Hang Seng Indexes Company said it will include SpaceX in the designated
US-listed constituents of the Hang Seng Hong Kong–US Technology Index, according
to an exchange notice.
The index compiler said the methodology will be updated to add SpaceX to the
US-listed component basket. The weightings of eight US-listed constituents will
be recalculated to equal weight after the close of the seventh trading day
following SpaceX’s inclusion, with the new constituent and revised weights
becoming effective on the 11th trading day. The changes will take effect subject
to SpaceX’s confirmed listing status.
