Iran's UN envoy Amir Saeid Iravani said on Monday Tehran and Washington are
still negotiating a peace agreement, expressing optimism a final deal could be
reached "soon," and replied "we hope so" when asked if an agreement might be
concluded before the end of June. Iravani said the current ceasefire is
comprehensive and applies across the region, including Lebanon — a
characterization Israel disputes. Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu said Israel
has decided not to take further action against Iran but will continue strikes
against Hezbollah.
