June 5 — MOFCOM convened a working meeting on building a recycling and reuse system for the 'new three' solid-waste categories: power batteries, PV modules and wind-turbine equipment. It called for differentiated, stage- and product-specific measures to resolve dismantling and recycling bottlenecks; for tech-led policy to advance foundational R&D and promote AI integration across recycling processes; and for continued pilot projects, encouraging industrial clusters and leading firms to trial solutions that raise recovery efficiency, strengthen sorting capacity and support higher-quality development of the recycling sector.
