The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State-owned Assets
Supervision and Administration Commission have jointly launched a 2026 special
action to accelerate real-scene training for humanoid robots and embodied
intelligence, focusing on industrial, special and service-sector scenarios.
program will advance construction of real-world training spaces, seed innovation
consortia, address operational skills and validate deployments to optimize
embodied-intelligence models, accumulate high-quality on-device data, and
improve key component performance while piloting full lifecycle management and
support mechanisms. Target: by end-2026 complete application validation and
routine deployment in representative scenarios to enter "operational mode",
distill over 100 high-value use cases and enable deployment capacity at a
ten-thousand-unit scale.
