Water level at the Three Gorges Reservoir has fallen to 147.78 m, completing the
scheduled drawdown ahead of plan. The current drawdown began in late October
2025, lowering levels by about 27 m and releasing roughly 20.8 bln cubic meters
of flood-control storage.
