China A-share PCB sector rallied; Tongyu New Materials hit the daily limit, with
Shengquan Group, Hongchang Electronics and Jin'an Guoji also limit-up. Aike
Optoelectronics rose over 9%, while Jiangnan New Materials, Nanya New Materials
and Defu Technology gained. Market sources say a surge in computing-power demand
has driven electronic-cloth prices sharply higher: as of early June commonly
used specifications have seen five rounds of price increases year-to-date,
average price about 7.4 yuan/m, roughly 100% above last year’s Q3 trough.
