June 9 — An improved Zhuque‑2 Yao‑6 rocket launched from the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Test Zone and successfully placed Qianfan DTC01 and China Mobile‑02 into their planned orbits. The mission was the rocket's eighth flight and incorporated technical upgrades focused on rapid response, star‑rocket co‑design, payload environment optimization, reliability improvements and cost reduction. Qianfan DTC01 is operated by Shanghai Yuanxin Satellite Technology; China Mobile‑02, owned by China Mobile Communications Group, will carry out direct‑to‑cellphone broadband and space‑to‑ground network integration trials. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology completed domestic frequency coordination and issued a space radio station license and radio frequency use permit for the satellites.
