By midday Shanghai Composite rose 0.51%, Shenzhen Composite 1.25% and ChiNext 1.91%. Semiconductors led gains; several chip-related names hit daily limits, and MLCC stocks rebounded with multiple limit-ups. PCB names outperformed, with some stocks at limit-up and international composite materials jumping over 13%. Other strong segments included memory chips, advanced packaging, lithography resist, CPO, OLED and liquid-cooling. Lagging sectors included coal, oilfield services & engineering, tax-refund retail, sports, baijiu, property developers and shipping/ports. Turnover on the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets was about 1.61 trillion yuan at mid-session, down roughly 159.5 billion yuan from yesterday; about 2,500 stocks advanced and 2,900 declined.
