JP Morgan plans to deploy more capable AI agents later this year, CNBC reports.
Chief Analytics Officer Derek Waldron told CNBC the agents are evolving from
single-task tools into digital workers that can manage multi-step workflows
across different software and run autonomously for one to two hours rather than
just two to three minutes. The bank says AI is already lifting results—private
bank total sales are up about 20%—and could ultimately allow bankers to expand
client coverage by as much as 50%.
