China's National Radio and Television Administration said Q1 total revenue for the national radio and television services sector rose 8.55% YoY to 356.24 billion yuan. Realized operating revenue was 317.50 billion yuan, up 10.85% YoY. By operator, traditional radio and TV institutions reported 156.51 billion yuan in revenue and online audio-visual service providers 199.73 billion yuan.

China A-share cultural and media sector rallied after six ministries, including the State Administration for Market Regulation, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Cyberspace Administration, issued opinions to boost high-quality development of the advertising industry. Tiandi Online hit the daily limit; Tianyu Digital earlier hit the limit; Visual China, Jiayun Technology and Century Tianhong were among the top gainers.
