China's Ministry of Housing and Urban‑Rural Development, working with more than
40 ministries and agencies, released a national report in Beijing outlining
China’s approach to implementing the New Urban Agenda under the UN 2030
Sustainable Development Agenda. The report concentrates on urbanization, housing
security, green low‑carbon transition, and urban safety and resilience, and
presents actions, measures and stated results across social, economic and
environmental dimensions; the New Urban Agenda was adopted at UN Habitat III in
October 2016 as the urban implementation framework of the 2030 Agenda.
