China has formally included electronic savings bonds in the personal pension
product scope effective June. Individuals participating in the personal pension
system can purchase electronic savings bonds directly through their pension
accounts. The next savings bond issue will be sold on June 10. Several banks
have added a bond-purchase entry in the personal pension section of their mobile
apps; purchases are also available at bank branches with a bank card and ID.
