Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian condemned a U.S. decision to place several
Chinese companies, including Alibaba and BYD, on a 'military‑related' entities
list, saying Washington is broadening national security grounds to create
discriminatory lists and unreasonably suppress Chinese firms. He urged the U.S.
to correct the action, stop the suppression, and warned China will take
necessary measures to firmly safeguard the legitimate and lawful rights of its
companies.
