Beijing, June 9, 2026 — Vice Finance Minister Liao Min and Brazilian Vice
Finance Minister Alencastro co‑chaired the 12th meeting of the China‑Brazil
High‑Level Coordination and Cooperation Committee’s finance and treasury
subcommittee. China said it will deepen alignment of the Belt and Road
Initiative with Brazil’s development strategy and step up practical cooperation
across sectors. Both sides agreed to strengthen macroeconomic policy
communication and coordination, deepen bilateral fiscal and financial
cooperation, and enhance coordination in multilateral forums, with China saying
it aims to inject greater certainty into a volatile global environment by
sustaining domestic economic stability.
