Jeff Bezos is in early talks to raise $100 billion for a fund aimed at acquiring
manufacturing companies and deploying AI to accelerate automation. The effort,
tied to startup Project Prometheus, targets sectors including semiconductors,
defense and aerospace, and could rival SoftBank Vision Fund in scale. Bezos has
held fundraising discussions in the Middle East and Singapore with major
investors. Project Prometheus is also seeking up to $6 billion separately and
has added David Limp to its board.
