Global LNG exports fell to a six-month low, wiping out recent supply gains from
the US and others as Middle East conflict disrupts flows. The 10-day average
dropped about 20% to 1.1 million tons, the lowest since September, per Bloomberg
using Kpler data. Declines were led by Qatar, and to a lesser extent the UAE,
both reliant on the Strait of Hormuz. Iran-related escalation forced Qatar to
shut Ras Laffan, with damage expected to take years to repair.
