China is set to dominate robot deliveries, supported by its extensive experience
in industrial robotics and component manufacturing, Daiwa Securities analyst
Kelvin Lau says.
He notes that many auto and industrial components overlap with humanoid robot
production, giving China a clear edge. Its large-scale manufacturing
base—spanning automotive, consumer electronics, mining, construction and
logistics—should also enable robotics firms to scale sales and offset
development costs.
Daiwa expects South Korea to narrow the gap, particularly as Hyundai Group has
acquired Boston Dynamics, providing a faster path to compete.
