China’s major futures contracts were mixed at the open, with lithium carbonate
rising more than 3%, while palladium and nickel gained over 2%. International
copper, copper, tin, aluminum, aluminum alloy, PX, PET flakes and No.20 rubber
rose more than 1%, and butadiene rubber and soybean No.1 edged up nearly 1%.
On the downside, asphalt, low-sulfur fuel oil and caustic soda fell more than
1%, while polysilicon, propylene and methanol slipped nearly 1%.
