U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT ISSUES STATEMENT AFTER U.S.-ISRAEL-LEBANON TRILATERAL MEETING IN WASHINGTON

Gold rises to $4,800 per troy ounce, supported by a softer U.S. dollar and oil below $100 a barrel. New York gold futures gain 0.7% to $4,802.70 an ounce, while silver rises 2.1% to $77.25 an ounce.
