AITO CHAIRMAN: AITO PLANS TO LAUNCH IN SOME NORTHERN EUROPEAN MARKETS THIS YEAR

SpaceX is planning to manufacture its own GPUs as part of its AI and technology expansion, according to excerpts of its S-1 filing ahead of a potential $1.75 trillion IPO expected this summer. The company said GPU manufacturing would be among its “substantial capital expenditures” but did not disclose cost or timeline. SpaceX, its xAI unit and Tesla are also developing a chip production complex called Terafab in Austin, Texas, intended to produce AI chips for cars, humanoid robots and data centers. It is unclear what chip types will be produced or which partners, including Intel, will handle fabrication. CEO Elon Musk said Intel’s 14A process may be used when the facility scales. SpaceX said it lacks long-term contracts with many chip suppliers and may not meet Terafab goals on schedule. The filing noted reliance on third-party chip suppliers.
