Iran’s IRNA, citing Al Arabiya television, reported that a final draft agreement
between the U.S. and Iran has been reached through Pakistani mediation and could
be announced within hours. The reported draft includes an immediate and
comprehensive ceasefire across all fronts, mutual commitments to avoid targeting
infrastructure, and guarantees for freedom of navigation in the Gulf and Strait
of Hormuz under a joint monitoring mechanism. It also outlines a gradual lifting
of sanctions in exchange for Iran’s compliance, with talks on unresolved issues
set to begin within seven days.
