CITIC Securities research note said Guinea's government plans to finalize a
bauxite regulation policy in June, raising the risk of bauxite supply
constraints that could support stabilization of bauxite and alumina prices and
benefit resilient aluminum producers with relatively high bauxite and alumina
self-sufficiency. Domestic destocking of electrolytic aluminum is accelerating
while overseas shortage risk persists; CITIC continues to recommend low-entry
accumulation opportunities in the aluminum sector. The firm favors investment
themes focused on strong resource bases, high growth and high dividends.
