On May 25, SAMR Director Luo Wen and Pakistan's Ambassador to China Khalil
Hashmi signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the People's Republic of
China's SAMR (National Certification and Accreditation Administration) and the
Ministry of Science and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on
cooperation in the field of conformity assessment. Both sides said they will
carry out technical exchanges and training, joint research and other cooperation
in conformity assessment; seek to reduce technical barriers to trade in areas of
mutual concern; facilitate bilateral trade; and inject new momentum into the
China‑Pakistan community with a shared future.
