totaling about 57%; 30% oppose or strongly oppose. Venezuelan central bank data
show annual consumer price inf rose to roughly 600% in April from 475% in
December. Severe inf, weak labor market and low wages are exerting heavy strain
on households. Venezuela and the US have taken joint steps to reopen the economy
to attract external investment, but confidence deteriorated: about 79% said May
economic conditions were "bad", up 2 percentage points MoM.
