U.S. natural gas futures jumped 6.00% intraday to $3.281 per MLN British thermal units.

As of 17:00 on May 28, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said 48.97 mln mu (≈3.26 mln ha) of summer wheat had been harvested nationwide, with daily mechanized harvesting exceeding 10 mln mu (≈666,000 ha). Overall progress is about 20%; the Southwest and Hubei are near completion, Henan and Anhui around 10%, and Jiangsu and Shaanxi have begun harvesting. The ministry said it will deploy more than 17 mln agricultural machines/implements nationwide and has coordinated with transport, police and meteorological authorities to ensure operational and logistical support.
