May 28 — China's Ministry of Finance, on behalf of the central government,
issued RMB60 bln of green sovereign bonds in Hong Kong: RMB30 bln 3-year at
1.42% and RMB30 bln 5-year at 1.56%. Demand totaled RMB624 bln (10.4x cover);
bid-to-cover was 9.8x for the 3-year and 11.0x for the 5-year. Allocations: APAC
80%, non‑APAC 20%; investor types: sovereign/supranational 31%, banks 47%, asset
managers and insurers 20%; green/sustainable investors 35%. Bonds will be listed
on HKEX.
