Chinese carriers will reduce fuel surcharges on domestic passenger tickets sold from June 5, 2026. New rates: 150 yuan per adult on routes over 800 km and 80 yuan per adult on routes of 800 km or less—reductions of 20 yuan and 10 yuan respectively from previous levels. The change will partly lower passenger travel costs.

On May 27 at the 2026 China Automobile Dealers Conference, the China Automobile Dealers Association announced the establishment of Mercedes‑Benz, BMW and Porsche dealer sub‑associations and held founding meetings. The three sub‑associations were approved by the association council and by member representative votes; procedures complied with rules. The association said it will continue to advance professionalization of luxury‑brand dealer sub‑associations and that Audi and Jaguar Land Rover sub‑associations are planned and will be prepared in due course.
