India's Defense Minister Singh told the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore that, to his knowledge, an agreement to sell BrahMos cruise missiles to Vietnam has been signed though it may not yet be publicly announced. He said New Delhi is also in the final stages of talks with Indonesia and Vietnam on sales of the system. The BrahMos, developed jointly by India and Russia, has a range of at least 380 km.

Beijing Space Intelligent Computing Research Institute was registered in the Beijing Economic‑Technological Development Area (Yizhuang). The institute will target key common technologies — onboard compute chips, inter‑satellite laser communications, space power and thermal management, integrated space‑ground networks and space security standards — and will build an end‑to‑end service chain covering R&D, pilot verification, on‑orbit testing and commercialization. It plans to complete development and launch of a first test satellite by 2028 and to network multiple test satellites to trial‑operate a space‑ground integrated intelligent computing network.
