An explosion in Biak, Indonesia's Papua province at about 14:45 local time on May 31, suspected to be World War II-era unexploded ordnance, killed five and left three people missing, police said. Regional police chief Ali Trestiawan said the incident is under investigation and warned additional explosives may remain at the site while authorities carry out safety clearance.
