Mohsen Rezaee, military adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, said in a recent interview that continued US military action would be “a one-way road to ruin” and that only negotiations are viable. He warned Iran is prepared to attack to break any sustained US maritime blockade. Rezaee said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has built a new combat system centered on asymmetric warfare, using cost‑efficient drones to strike high‑value targets. Rezaee is a former IRGC commander and a member of Iran’s National Interest Council.
