Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met Brazil's foreign minister Vieira in Beijing. Han said China views the China–Brazil relationship from a strategic, long-term perspective and will work with Brazil to implement leaders' consensus and deepen high-level strategic cooperation, leveraging mechanisms such as the China‑Brazil High‑Level Commission to push bilateral ties toward higher technology content, greater added value and stronger strategic orientation. Vieira said political trust has strengthened, that multilateralism faces unprecedented pressure, and Brazil is willing to use the High‑Level Commission to coordinate and deepen cooperation across fields.
