Early June 1 the IDF said it intercepted a rocket launched from Lebanon toward
Israel’s Upper Galilee. The IDF also fired an interceptor over the northern city
of Kiryat Shmona against a suspected Hezbollah-operated drone; the effectiveness
of that intercept is under assessment. The IDF said it carried out an airstrike
on a Hezbollah rocket-launching position in Lebanon in the early hours. Multiple
air-raid sirens sounded in northern Israel since dawn.
