Authorities suspect a rocket motor/propulsion unit may have detonated. South Korea's Lee ordered all available resources mobilised for rescue, a full probe into the cause and measures to prevent a recurrence. The Daejeon facility produces tactical weapons and large rocket motors and previously suffered fatal explosions in 2018 and 2019.
