Zhuhai Housing Provident Fund Management Center published a public consultation on a notice from the Zhuhai Housing Provident Fund Management C.BANK proposing changes to provident fund withdrawal and use rules. The draft proposes adding withdrawals for urban renewal projects and for renovation of owner-occupied housing to meet residents’ demand for improved living conditions. The center said expanding the fund’s applicable scope would significantly enhance inclusiveness and resident benefits, support urban renewal and renovation withdrawals, improve system effectiveness and help contributors move from "secure housing" to "better housing".
