Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said Ukrainian long-range strike operations have hit key facilities on Russian territory overnight, including an oil terminal in St. Petersburg roughly 1,100 km from the Ukrainian border. He said purely military targets at the Kronstadt naval base were struck and a weapons manufacturer in Tambov region about 600 km from the front line was also hit. Zelenskiy said the long-range sanctions strike plan is being implemented as necessary to help secure an early peace.

Egypt's Ministry of Supply said the government approved a mechanism allowing sugar to be listed and traded on the commodities market.
