At the midday close, China's most-active futures contracts were mixed. Rapeseed oil rose over 3%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and propylene gained more than 2%. Live hogs, LPG, PTA, logs, benzene, paraxylene (PX) and apples advanced around 2%. On the downside, lithium carbonate fell over 4% and polysilicon dropped more than 3%; alumina, red dates, asphalt and Shanghai nickel (SHFE) declined over 1%.
