U.S. Secretary of State Rubio told a congressional hearing the U.S. has not yet achieved its intended objectives in Venezuela but is moving in that direction. He said it has been only five months and that overhauling a system in place for 16–18 years will take time, but he believes progress is occurring at a good pace.

At a June 3 joint press briefing with NATO Secretary-General Rutte, Zelenskiy said Ukraine spends about $45–50 billion a year on weapons production and that existing funds are sufficient to meet the armed forces’ equipment and operational needs. He said Kyiv will maintain sustained, adequate funding to support weapons mass production and supply, daily military operations, and long-term financing plans for defence force development.
