Data from the China Chain Store & Franchise Association show about 350 new shopping centers are expected to open nationwide in 2025. Sector concentration is rising, and operators are prioritizing redevelopment of existing stock and improvements in operating efficiency.

The China Automotive Engineering Society forecasts new-energy vehicles (NEVs) will account for more than 70% of new passenger-car sales by 2030; L3/L4 autonomous-driving features will be fitted on over 35% of new passenger cars, and Chinese automakers' overseas sales will reach nearly 10 mln units. The society expects the next five years to bring accelerated electrification, digital-intelligent transformation across the full industry chain, and a deep reshaping of competitive and cooperative dynamics between domestic and foreign automakers. Vice chairman and secretary-general Hou Fushen made the remarks at the society's June 3 annual meeting press briefing.
