At midday close, China's main futures contracts were mostly lower. Lithium
carbonate and Shanghai tin fell more than 4%; palladium, Shanghai nickel and
polysilicon declined about 4%; bottle-grade PET chips and Shanghai silver were
down nearly 3%; BR rubber, red dates, stainless steel, PVC, alumina, styrene and
20# rubber dropped over 2%. On the upside, coking coal rose over 4%, while
rapeseed and coke gained more than 2%.
