In Jinan, AI models are being produced on assembly lines using a four-step
factory process. Step one: a data workshop cleans, filters and labels raw data
into production-grade training material. Step two: a model forging workshop runs
ordered training on large models as production-line units. Step three: an
evaluation center conducts strict factory acceptance tests and returns failed
models for retraining. Step four: an integration workshop embeds trained models
into robotic arms and robots, using repeated motion capture and training to
teach physical skills. The process spans 75 refined procedures and has shortened
model development cycles from about 90 person-days to roughly 20 person-days.
