HEZBOLLAH said it shelled an Israeli military assembly point near Shakif Castle in southern Lebanon.

Israeli air raids on multiple towns in southern Lebanon on the 5th killed at least 13 people and wounded 15, Lebanese sources said. Israeli jets and drones struck Nebetiyeh, Bint Jbeil and Tyre from predawn hours, hitting homes, vehicles and a building housing a bank branch in Tyre’s Abbasiyah; that building was destroyed and 12 civilians were wounded. Israeli forces issued evacuation warnings for towns in the Sidon and Zahrani areas and residents were reported evacuating. Hezbollah said its fighters attacked Israeli targets in southern Lebanon and clashed with Israeli forces.
