South Korean retail investors sold more than 1 trillion won of overseas equities in the first week of June, indicating a possible rotation back into domestic stocks after semiconductor-led gains. Korea Securities Depository data show net overseas equity sales of $793.67 mln in that week, continuing a net-selling trend that began in April. That compares with $469 mln in net sales in April and a record $939.77 mln in May. If sustained through month-end, this would be the third consecutive month of net selling, the first such streak since April–July 2023.
