WeChat Open Platform published instructions for developer access to the WeChat
AI ecosystem. Developers must proactively authorize access in the Mini Program
management backend under the AI capability. Two integration options are offered:
Automatic mode — with developer authorization the platform reads mini-program
source code at review, requires no additional development and lets the platform
analyze pages so WeChat AI can operate directly; Development mode — developers
build custom, business-specific integrations which, after platform testing and
review, can be invoked by WeChat AI. The two modes are not mutually exclusive
and may be enabled simultaneously.
