China's Ministry of Finance announced a second re-opening of the 2026 book-entry 10-year fixed-rate coupon bond (Series 10). Competitive tender size is CNY90.0 bln nominal, with additional bids accepted from Class A members. Coupon is unchanged from the prior like-tenor issue at 1.72%. Interest accrues from May 15, 2026; semiannual interest payments on May 15 and Nov 15 (holidays adjusted); principal repaid and final interest paid on May 15, 2036.

CHINA met N. Korea leader Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang on June 8. CHINA said the traditional China–N. Korea friendship, rooted in shared ideology and history, is firm; the party and government will not change their stance valuing that friendship, will not change their steadfast support for Kim's leadership of N. Korea's socialist project, and will not change their determination to safeguard shared interests and a favorable strategic environment.
