The State Administration for Market Regulation issued Guidelines for local
market regulators on international cooperation in quality certification,
directing them to prioritize export-leading firms, SMEs, key industry-chain
participants and testing/inspection/certification bodies. Local regulators are
to collect obstacles to international quality certification and exporters'
market-access certification demands, promptly report foreign-related problems
and potential risks to SAMR to support national-level international cooperation
and negotiations, and track progress through a closed-loop reporting, resolution
and feedback mechanism to ensure firms' certification appeals are addressed.
