Iran said its armed forces, exercising their inherent right of self-defense, launched strikes on U.S. bases and assets in the area identified as the source of the aggression. The ministry urged regional states to prevent their territory and facilities from being used by the U.S. and Israel to plan or carry out attacks against Iran.
