At the night session close at 02:30, SHFE gold main contract fell 3.37% to 899 yuan/gram, SHFE silver main contract fell 1.08% to 15,604 yuan/kg, and Shanghai crude (SC) main contract rose 1.94% to 584 yuan/barrel.

On the downside, Shanghai gold fell over 2%; Shanghai silver, zinc, nickel and synthetic rubber dropped more than 1%; international copper, styrene (EB) and Shanghai copper were down around 1%.
