Indian embassy in Oman said on Thursday it had been informed of an incident involving a vessel near Shinas port.

The 12th China (Shanghai) International Technology Import and Export Fair opened in Shanghai on June 11. Exhibitor participation topped 1,000 for the first time, with 15 projects debuting. Twenty-six overseas trade-promotion agencies and 74 foreign firms from countries including Germany and France are attending. Displays focus on robotics, precision manufacturing and digital solutions. The fair will issue more than 80 technology cooperation requests.

On June 9 the WHPG pilot platform’s first well, G10, was spudded, marking the start of drilling for Phase II of the Bohai 19-6 gas field development. The field, in the central Bohai Sea at roughly 20m water depth, has identified geological gas reserves of over 200 bcm and condensate reserves above 200 mln m3. Phase I entered production in November 2023; Phase II will construct three wellhead platforms and three conductor jackets.
