At a regular briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said China is seriously concerned and strongly urges relevant parties to stop military action immediately, return to dialogue and negotiations, and support mediation efforts to achieve an early, comprehensive and lasting ceasefire. He warned military force will only worsen the situation, cannot solve root causes, and said the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of regional states must be respected and upheld.
