Guangzhou Market Regulation Bureau said on the 11th that inspection, testing and
certification are being prioritized to drive industrial upgrading across
strategic sectors including intelligent connected vehicles, new energy storage,
low-altitude economy and semiconductors. The city has guided testing bodies to
raise technical capacity and supported local automakers to develop fully
domestically designed vehicle chips, achieving 100% domestic design across seven
domain-control systems covering 382 variants and 1,004 chips — a step toward
autonomous control of core components for intelligent connected vehicles.
National quality inspection centers for digital sensing and control products in
new power systems and for intelligent connected vehicles have also been approved
for establishment.
